'Fortnite' Season 7, Week 2 Challenges Revealed And How To Solve Them

Season 7 is officially underway in Fortnite: Battle Royale, and it's been eventful so far. Epic followed up the wide-ranging Week 1 with the addition of the Infinity Blade in Week 2, giving one player in a match the ability to transform into a superpowered death machine capable of radically unbalancing million dollar tournaments. You can say this about Fortnite: it keeps you on your toes, for better and for worse. Now, we've got another round of challenges for all those battle pass owners looking to keep moving up to Tier-100 and the coveted Ice King skin. With challenges that ask you to play music on pianos and compete in a dance-off, let's take a look at the Season 7, Week 2 challenges and how to solve them:

Free challenges: 

• Search a Chest in different Named Locations (7)
• Damage opponents with different types of weapons (5)
• Eliminate opponents in Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields (3)(HARD)

Battle Pass Challenges

• Stage 1: Visit Snobby Shores and Pleasant Park in a single match (2)
• Play the Sheet Music on pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge (2)
• Compete in a Dance Off at an abandoned mansion (1)(HARD)
• Eliminate an opponent from at least 50m away (1)

So, going down the line:

Searching a chest in different named locations is no problem: the only hard part is attrition. You can try to get this done in as few matches as possible by ripping around in a quadcrasher, or just complete this in the course of seven normal matches.

Likewise with damaging opponents with different types of weapons: all you need to do is vary your playstyle based on what you have.

Eliminating opponents in Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields is an evolution of a challenge we've seen before, with a little more leeway than earlier seasons. The choice between two locations should mean neither is that overwhelmed, and it should also make it easier to complete later in the season. My best recommendation would be to join Team Rumble matches and hope the circle lands on one of those two locations. If it does, this should be much easier.

Eliminating an opponent from at least 50m away could take some doing if you're aiming-challenged like I am. But your best friends here are sniper rifles, obviously, as well as assault rifles. The airplanes, also, will tend to be useful at hitting from a distance. I'd recommend working in Team Rumble here, where respawns make eliminations significantly easier to come by.
