Fortnite Week 6 Challenges for Season 7 Guide
Search an Ammo Box in different Named Locations
The first challenge is one of the easiest. You’ll have to search seven ammo boxes in different named locations. Unfortunately, this means you can’t go to a single location and start popping open boxes; each box you open must be in a different area. Make sure to keep track of the areas where you’ve already search boxes, as this one may take a couple matches to finish.
Search Chilly Gnomes
This scavenger hunt has players seeking out so called “Chilly Gnomes” that are scattered around the map. What are these gnomes, exactly?
Exactly as the name implies, you’ll be seeking out tiny garden gnomes encased in blocks of ice. All of the frozen gnomes are located in the snow covered southwestern area of the map, so don’t bother looking elsewhere. When you get close, you’ll also be able to hear the sound of the gnome shivering, helping you to hone in on the exact location. Once you find it, simply search the block like you would a chest. Here’s a map with the locations of all Chilly Gnomes:
That’s quite a few gnomes, but don’t fret. You only need to find and search seven gnomes to complete this challenge.
Eliminate opponents in Lucky Landing or Tilted Towers
This player elimination challenge is relatively straightforward: head over to either Lucky Landing or Tilted Towers and drop three players. This is a fair bit easier to do in an LTM or one of the larger PvP modes that allow you to respawn. You may even be able to knock this challenge off the list in a single match.
Multi-Stage Challenge 1
Fortnite is switching it up with these next two multi-stage challenges, which involve dealing a certain amount of damage with a weapon and then visiting certain locations. The first challenge runs as follows:
- Stage 1: Deal 200 damage with an SMG.
- Stage 2: Visit Lucky Landing and Retail Row in a single match.
- Stage 3: Visit Lazy Links and Shifty Shafts in a single match.
Multi-Stage Challenge 2
Second verse, same as the first… almost.
- Stage 1: Visit Polar Peak and Tilted Towers in a single match.
- Stage 2: Deal 200 damage with an Assault Rifle.
- Stage 3: Deal 200 damage with grenades, clingers, or stink bombs.
Slide an Ice Puck over 150m in a single throw
Though at first glance this challenge may seem like a tall order, with some outside-the-box thinking it might just be the easiest challenge to complete on this week’s slate. First, equip the Ice Puck toy and drop into a match. Head for the nearest airfield, and hop into a plane. Fly as high as you can go, then switch to the passenger seat so you can stand on the plane’s wing.
Then, before you start to fall, simply toss out your Ice Puck. It’ll plummet to the ground and you’ll easily hit the 150m distance requirement and complete the challenge.
Deal damage with 5 different weapons in a single match
This is a challenge also well suited to one of the larger, team-based LTM modes. The longer matches should make it fairly easy to get your hands on several different weapon types, and you’ll also be able to respawn so you don’t have to worry about your progress resetting. Once you’ve run the gauntlet and done some damage with five different weapon types, your final challenge will be complete.
Though this week’s set may seem a bit daunting at first, with a little persistence and some ingenuity these challenges will be finished up in no time, bringing you one step closer to the mysterious Snowfall skin.
