To start the week off in  Fortnite: Battle Royale , Epic unveiled the  14 days of Fortnite , giving us new challenges each day. But don't worry; those are in addition to the regular challenges so there's plenty to do if you want to knock out a few more tiers of your Battle Pass. This week's challenges take advantage of season 7 content with one that involves ziplines and another that sends you to the heart of the snowy biome. That snowy quest is where we see the return of an old favorite: a "search between" challenge (yes, we have the map). 

There will be tons of new  Fortnite: Battle Royale  players now that the holidays are mostly over, because I can only imagine how many households just got shiny new gaming consoles. Fortnite is a no-brainer for people to add to their library because it is the most popular game on the planet, but maybe more importantly, it's free. For all the new players dropping in for the first time, welcome, but for everyone else it's business as usual for getting through the week's free and Battle Pass challenges.

Search an Ammo Box in different Named Locations The first challenge is one of the easiest. You’ll have to  search seven ammo boxes  in different named locations. Unfortunately, this means you can’t go to a single location and start popping open boxes; each box you open must be in a different area. Make sure to keep track of the areas where you’ve already search boxes, as this one may take a couple matches to finish. Search Chilly Gnomes This scavenger hunt has players seeking out so called “Chilly Gnomes” that are scattered around the map. What are these gnomes, exactly? The v7.20 Fortnite update that was released earlier today featured a handful of new Fortnite skins and other cosmetics. One of the skins, Cobalt, is likely to be the next Starter Pack according to leaks. Epic released the v7.20 update today and one of the many skins that were leaked, Cobalt, is likely going to be in the next Starter Pack if leaks are correct. According to  FortniteGameLAT  and  ShiinaBR , the code for the Cobalt skin suggests the skin will be part of the next starter pack. The source of the skin clearly states “CobaltStarterPack”. It’s more than likely the Starter Pack will include a Back Bling and V-Bucks. New update came and 7.20 patch notes had bring many changes like new weapon(scoped revolver and glider redeploy item)    Scoped Revolver: No sniper? No problem! Use the new Scoped Revolver to hit precise shots against enemies. Glider Redeploy Item: Spread your wings! Glider Redeploy is back, but this time as an item. Find charges as loot throughout the map.

A while back we ran a test for glider re-deploy. There was a very split response on the mechanic which revealed some positives as well as some negatives. We removed the mechanic from default modes, but feel an alternative implementation will help in solving some of those negatives and better suits our goals. The goal with the item is to provide mobility and utility, but in a form that can be balanced and iterated upon. By implementing glider redeploy as an item we can iterate on multiple different levels (i.e. redeploy height, movement speed, drop chance, charge count), including inventory slot tension.

People have been debating whether or not  Fortnite  needed vehicles since launch, but I don't think anyone thought it would happen in quite this way.  This morning the developer dropped shopping carts into the game that let one player push while another one rides : it's not exactly a humvee, and that's sort of the point. If you're looking to play around with one of  Fortnite's  new vehicles, however, you'll need to find one.

Next week's  Fortnite  challenges have leaked online and the big question on everyone's mind is: What on earth are gravity stones? Searching gravity stones is one of Season 4, Week 5's big Battle Pass challenges. But whatever gravity stones are, they're certainly not hop rocks---the glowing consumables found in the game's various craters that allow players to temporarily defy gravity. 'Search Gravity Stones' implies that these are more like treasure chests or llamas, items that can be searched and opened to reveal their content. We'll know soon enough.
